I don’t want to leave, but it’s time to Glasgow

Our next stop took us to a small town in the Highlands of Scotland, Aberfoyle. I am confident it was probably one of the most beautiful places I have been to, at least where we stayed. I am so thankful to my Mom's company for letting us stay in such a wonderful place. This was very much of a relaxing break during our trip, which was much needed.

For most of the days we rested, watched the river and small waterfall out of our window, sat in the hot tub, played some monopoly, worked on a puzzle, and walked into town(1.5 miles each way) every day.

The first adventure we went on was to the Sterling castle in Sterling. The flower garden was my favorite part, and the paintings and art inside were second up.

The next adventure was mainly a solo adventure with some sideline support from Ben. I went Ziplining on supposedly the longest Zipline in the UK, at 426 meters. It was so cool. I am thrilled that "I made the jump." There were two main ziplines and then four challenge courses. Admittedly I did not want to do them while I was looking at tickets, worried about my strength or the amount of time I would be relatively alone in the trees of Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. But it was such an adrenaline-rushing, heart-sinking, flying experience. I didn't bring my phone with me; I was too scared I would break it. But Ben hiked the 2 miles to the park with me and used my camera to get a few photos of me. He also took some of his own pictures with it.

Ultimately, after an amazing five days, we left our forest sanctuary and took a long taxi ride to the Glasgow airport to fly to Paris.
